April Fools Recap: Automakers Show Their Sense of Humor

Kia announced that it would be developing a new version of its Kee concept car with a wireless steering system, which features a Nintendo wii wireless controller to steer the vehicle. Designed to deliver driving enlightenment for those as young as eight years of age, the Kee_wii, developed by Kia's New Zealand labs, features such technology as Dynamic On-Road Kinetics (DORK), Independent Driver Input Operating Technique (IDIOT), and others. It'll go in production on April 1st of next year.

And here's one from the world of tuners. RENNTECH, tuners of Mercedes-Benz products put together a twin-engined smart fortwo that revs to 11,800 rpm. Now, smart officially developed a tiny V6 for its roadster, but this one's a little different. From its side exhausts the RENNTECH smart emits pure oxygen, scented with flowers.
