What this essentially means is that the long-awaited performance machine will get the full, star-studded treatment; expect to see various “theme” tuned versions, and perhaps even a glimpse of Bumblebee from the upcoming Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen movie.
General
Motors is already hard at work producing official accessories for the
upcoming Camaro, and will have a variety of grilles, wheels, spoilers
and a ground effects kit ready for when the car hits the market. SEMA
will offer a first glimpse at these components.

version, slated to feature a supercharged version of the LS8
6.2-liter V8 producing in excess of 500 horsepower. This would not only
give it a head and shoulders advantage in straight-line performance over its nearest rival, the
Dodge Challenger SRT8, but the potential to eclipse the Shelby GT500
as well.
While the Camaro will certainly
be a highlight for the 2008 show, expect to see a lot of this year's
hottest cars show up in tuned form, including the new Lancer Evolution,
Impreza STi, Nissan GT-R, and others.
