Slimming Down in Time for Next Summer
Without a doubt, the worlds most iconic sport utility vehicles are created by Hummer. Based off the backbone of military DNA and technology, the original Hummer, now dubbed H1 were war machines: unstoppable, unshakable and nearly indestructible. But now that General Motors has taken over the brand, its identity has shifted in the view of the public. At 111.9 inches long, 88.5 inches wide and 74.5 inches high, the H3 is 16.9 inches stubbier in length, 6.0 inches shorter in height and 6.5 inches narrower than the H2, giving it roughly the same footprint as a typical American family sedan. These dimensions are hard to comprehend in photos, as its imposing design makes it appear just as large as the juggernaut-sized H2.
