A Coupe Concept for the Wilderness

Believe it or not, South America - in particular, Brazil - is one of the biggest markets for Italian carmaker Fiat. But like every market, be it India, China, Mexico, or Europe, the automotive climate varies, and over the past thirty years Fiat has been building up a repertoire as one of the top brands. Because South America is such a large component of Fiats global agenda, the brand has given this particular division the ability to develop, design and build products specific to this market.

1970s, which has allowed it to compete straight in the heart of the South American market, with cars like the famous (everywhere but in North America) Uno, plus modern robotized engines such as the FIRE series and others capable of running on 100-percent alcohol fuel. It launched the Palio, the brands first "World Car" in Brazil, which quickly became a popular choice amongst automobile buyers

who were in the market for a new vehicle built with modern technologies as opposed to an old vehicle that had been facelifted for a more modern appearance; the latter being something that happens all too often.

In celebration of the past thirty years, Fiat presented the Concept Car Adventure, a prototype that was designed, styled and built by Fiat of Brazil taking into consideration the tastes and trends of South American buyers. Its a very peculiar looking vehicle, with odd proportions that convey all sorts of different visual messages.

For instance, the massive sloping front windshield, buttress-like rear pillars, and a low roof line all hint at the cars sportiness, but conventional-looking lights and a common grille reduce the level of exotic sports car styling.
