Honda Begins Jet Sales

In 1972 Honda introduced the world to the Civic. Now recognized as the economy car benchmark, it rocked the automotive world when it debuted, showing people that small, affordable cars didnt have to be boring, and could actually be useful. Today, that reputation still stands, and such models as the Civic Si, Civic Type R (overseas only) and of course the long defunct Civic CRX offer performance, economy, and practicality at reasonable prices. So whats next?

Entering what is formally known as the ultra-light jet category, the diminutive HondaJet has been in the works for 20 years (meaning the HondaJets development program has seen no less than six generations of Honda Civic come and go), although aviation has been an aspiration of the Big H for even longer.
