Only 2,000 Commemorative Edition Z06 Corvettes

will be made with a price tag approximately $3,000 to $5,000 more expensive than the current $50,000 Z06 price tag.

The new version gets a carbon-fiber hood, a 10.6-pound weight savings, plus the retuned suspension system that will be available on all 2004 Corvette Z06 models.

If you like the look but dont want to spend the money necessary for the Z06, Chevy will offer the commemorative upgrades to the standard coupe and convertible.
