Two Additional Bespoke Phantoms to Accompany LWB Model in Frankfurt
While news of Rolls-Royces long-wheelbase (LWB) Phantom was only of passing interest to most consumers when news of it surfaced in Geneva earlier this year, mostly for the novelty value of its intimidating styling, hedonistic excess and outrageous 323,700 euro ($405,000+ USD) sticker price, there will be some current Phantom owners intrigued by the prospect of enhanced legroom when the new XXXL model launches at this months IAA show in Frankfurt.

Along with the Phantom LWB, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars will spice up its show stand with two additional Bespoke Phantoms featuring a variety of new temptations. The first is an all-black regular wheelbase Phantom featuring Jasmine-colored coach-lines, plus some customized additions inside such as Black Tulip wood veneer incorporating Mother of Pearl inlay, plus black carpets and Jasmine leather seats to mirror the outside color scheme. Asian Pacific deliveries will follow toward year end with no word as to when or even if North American dealers will receive their allotment. Rolls-Royce rival Bentley chose not to sell its long-wheelbase Arnage in North America, a decision that may be adopted by Goodwood, England-based Rolls-Royce.
